In 14 years of hunting and scouting I have never personally witnessed bucks fighting...until tonight...was leaving work in St. Louis county when I saw a bunch of deer in a field and two of them were heads down facing each other...I stopped pulled out the binoc's and saw two bucks locked up fighting. They were about 150 yards away and I could hear the horns knocking....when I panned the other deer, I realized they wer ALL bucks and at any given time there was up to 3 different fights going on...none looked too serious and only 2 of the bucks were really big...one was REALLY big...but it was WAY cool to not only witness my first fight but to see 3 fights going on at once and at one time 3 heads were together.... :

I've only seen twice.

First time I shoot the winner, second time my daughter shoot the looser (well she shoot and hit it, but it's still alive and kick'n).

I video taped a couple of young bucks sparring one evening, but I've never seen an all out brawl. : stuff for sure.
