Well normally I would hunt here around the Mark Twain Lake area, but this year my cousin invited me to come down and hunt with him down in deep SE Missouri. It was a very learning experince hunting down there, We got my Tom opening morning after it quit raining, it was 20lbs, double bearded 11 3/4" and 3 1/4" and 3/4" spurs. My cousins turkey was 20lbs 10 1/2" beard 1"spurs. It was was worth the 4 hour drive down there as much fun as we had, but my legs are still recovering from all the hill climbing we had to do.

    Congrats on a fine bird!!!!
Those southern hills can be quite difficult to get to the tops! I used to love hunting that country....... When I was younger. Not sure if the old legs could make to the top of those hills or not now days.
