I owe KC704 a hop and barley mixture! It was a little anti climatic knowing it was laying there, but one of my better match sets nonetheless. Nice team work!

will do, the match is at home! Giving them to my buddy, it is his spot and he is gracious enough to allow me to hunt there.

that's crazy! Motivating me to get the hound in the woods tonight (hopefully) or this weekend at the very least. we have been practicing for a few weeks to knock off rust.

I would have probably found the one in the bush...... while trying to get up from tripping over the match.

still befuddled that I didn't see the 2nd one and it took 90 minutes of sitting to see the 1st. In all honesty, that 2nd one was hidden pretty well..I used to think I was a decent shed hunter, now questioning that, although I did just turn 50 so my eyes are getting bad.

That’s pretty funny. I was reading this thread for the first time and I missed the obvious one....

But I did see the one that was there and harder to see. I guess 20 psyched me out that it was gonna be a hard one to spot.

Truth be told that's probably the only shed I'll find this year. I actually saw it before I saw the one you had already found. I think my best year ever was 6. LOL!! Glad I wasn't just seeing things.

way to go 20 , don't feel bad years ago, I had the daughter and nephew blood trail a jan 1 deer and had them in harvest pictures and Jeremy wanted to know if I had rattled in with the antler laying beside him. Had to go back and find that dang thing, literally six inches from where the deer was guess I was blind as a bat. lol
