I killed a coyote with a bow over the weekend. I have gun hunted for 6 years and already have a 140 class 10 on my wall. My buddy got me into bow hunting this year and even got me directed to this board. The coyote came straight at me and veered to the left side of me and I hit him at 10 yds. Gut shot, but he was walking. I was pumped, shaking so bad the tree stand was moving. Had to sit down. This hooked me and I haven't even killed a deer yet with my bow. WOW! I even tracked him and found him laying about 250 yds away in a thicket still a live. We backed out and when we went back he was dead. One of my sons wanted to hang him next to the 10. The wife had "no" out of her mouth before he finished. Looking forward to this website helping me with my hunts. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on the yote. That's a tough one to get with a bow.

That's what a veteran hunter told me. He said "a deer is usually easier to get to come within bow range." Just lucky he came by, I guess.

Well done and welcome to the site. Always wanted to get one with the bow but it hasn't worked out yet.
