The tag your issued at your local vendor is good for a legal buck or a doe, on private land, is this correct, I say private land because I know many public area have restrictions to where you can only shoot bucks. My buddy told me this morning he read that you could not shoot a doe untill the late antlerless season, I thought he was wrong so now I'm asking.

You can shoot a doe during regular firearms season on private ground provided you have an any deer or antlerless only tag.

    golfnut1969 You're not a golfer.

Read up on the area you are going to. I'm going to public land and your allowed to kill any legal deer. This area is closed during the anterless portion. Each area has different rules and you would be wise to learn them in and out.
