sure it can, after a short time they will know there are no birds nesting in the burn'd out area and go where there is nesting habitat, in which it is full of nesting birds cause where the birds use to nest is all burnt up.

it's not rocket science

I was surprised there was no mention of fires impact on small rodents that depend on grass thatch and leaf litter for security and places to forage.
