Glad to see we finally got some rain! 1 1/2 inches at Wardsville and looks like Higbee area got enough to at least water the trees.

Are you in the Lebanon area? I din't think they got that much today. My brother is heading to Bennett and I had thought about meeting him down there. Sounds like I should warn him about rising water alert.

I'm afraid the radar has been slightly deceiving..only 2/10s here. just a slight sprinkle going on,not enough to make the gutters run. Hopefully the rain runs in a slight SE direction the good news it thats its raining and I think the early hard stuff did just enough to set my Brassica seed
I'm 11 miles east of Lebanon. I Don't know how widespread the precipitation was.
My place is close to that and I'm glad we got the timely rain for the deer watchin plots.
I went to the farm out of curiosity. We had 4/10ths earlier today. It is still cloudy and has sprinkled again since I dumped the gauge.
We got a smidgeon over 1/10 of an inch this morning. Humidity is unbearable for pushing a lawn mower. Thinking seriously about having it hired out maybe next year here at the house in the city. As for the yard around the hunting cabin the rider mower makes it a lot easier on these old bones.
I got nuttin' - again! :banging:
Settled the dust for an hour . 98 degrees tomorrow things are cooking.
Your biggest worry right now is hoping the tree tubes drain fast enough the trees don't drown Joe.

We have another 3 1/2 inches since I dumped the 4/10ths out yesterday. Another hour of rain showing on radar. Looks like exceeding 4" in around 24 hours is a given.
Not a drop in 3 weeks. 4-5 “can’t miss” 80-90% chances have fizzled into nothing. Bad dry.

Yep agreed haven't looked at gauge yet but it rained real hard all night

I don't think we have gone more than 8 or 10 days without a good rain since the end of April first of May.
I doubt I could take being a 100% farmer. Seems like always worrying about too little or too much rain would tend to wear a person down after a while. Even if you irrigate still have to worry about too much.

yea food plotting is stressful enough.. lol
I just put out turnip/radish seed Saturday. Looks like it got watered.
We got a half inch this morning finally. Turnip/radish/rape seed has been waiting in the ground for a week for this much needed rain.
