Well I finally had a chance to make the run over to Schnettgoeke's Taxidermy to pick up my 2018 rifle and archery mounts.

They are now safely on the wall next to their brother-en, and will be "officially" scored either Wednesday or Thursday evening.

I love the way they turned out but do wish the archery kill wasn't such a scrapper and had less cape damage but that is how he looked when killed so I'm happy with it!

Hard to tell from pics, but those look pretty darn good, and I’m a stickler on taxidermy. Ears look especially good.

I wouldn't drive over 4 hours round trip past umpteen other taxidermist if I didn't feel Bob did work worth the drive.

I love the eye detail on the rifle buck especially, he has a look in his eyes that say "oh crap - I screwed up and have been busted."
