Been hot lately. But past few days when I feed them they are not coming to surface to eat the fish food. Do they quit feeding when water is too hot. I usually feed them about 4 notes a week.

Yes same time and spot. Hmmm.

If they're not floating or laying dead on the shoreline they're likely just not interested in fish food. Maybe there's been a hatch in your pond that they're keying on?

Could be the area you have been feeding is fairly shallow which warms up quick with summer temps. Try deeper water to see if by chance they are holding out in deeper cooler water that has more oxygen.
We have one named Walter he likes dog food and listens to Kansas

On Golden Pond.......
If a blue heron has been hanging around, it tends to spook them a few days.
Also feeding in the same spot makes an otter's fishing much easier. Otters splashing as they come into a pond causes fish to react as they are being fed.
