They don't make them anymore. Black licorice worm with 3 hooks. Best bass catcher I ever had.

My favorite Bass lure is probably the Zara Super Spook or Super Spook Junior. Anytime from May- October. Very fun to fish!! My most productive would be crankbaits though.

By the way,:welcome:!! I love me some bass fishin' too!!!

 White spinnerbait with double Colorado's.

I also REALLY like a buzzbait when the fish are liking them.

#1 Small Rapala floater, black and silver in a farm pond. Also #2 a small beetle sping black and yellow in any water or pumpkinseed.

If that doesn't work #3, I like a purple 6" plastic worm or salty craw in blue electric or black and chartreuse.

    You mean like -

    ?[/rquote]

Yep, that's pretty much it. I think they came in 3 or 4 packs. Solid black. Also the ones that looked like earthworms that had spinner blades on the front. I think they quit making the black licorice ones in the late 80's, early 90's.

Never did really fish year around (March-October) and only farm ponds. I used a black licorice to nail a 6# in Ocotober one year. 1986 I think it was.

Bingo, brushhawgs are definitely my go to bait, my confidence bait. Anytime, anywhere.

Can't find em' around here though, have to try BP I guess.

I like the beetle spins!!! Best part is I can catch about anything with them. Even pulled in a Catfish one time. But then about all I fish is ponds and strip pits.
