Was set up overlooking a one acre food plot with a south west wind. Got in my ground blind at 3 pm this afternoon, temperture was 25 degrees. Had the first doe come out at 10 yards at 4 oclock. It walked out in front of me but it felt like a good night for deer to move so was going to wait on shooting to see what would come out. The first doe hung around for 5 min and headed into a crp field. At 5 oclock had 3 doe come trotting out of the timber in to the plot with two more following behind the 3. Not far behind the two doe was a decent 8 point. 120 class buck. The buck was still chasing to my suprise, but only got within 55 yards of my setup. It was well worth sitting in the cold this evening. will try my luck saturday morning depending on the wind. :woot:
