Evening Hunt

6th hunt of the season. On a cleared out ridge top that's surrounded by timber. Clover plot getting hit hard every day. Acorns seem to be limited this year. Second time in this stand and had a spike and 2 does under 20 yards last time. Good movement so far this year.

Were trying something different today. Spotted a nice 8 last two times come through here so we made a move hopefully it pays off for my son.

Went out this evening. I saw nothing. My dad saw a doe around 6:00. And my buddy saw a doe around the same time!

Saw one doe right about 6 that's all. But had the youngest with me so it was a great night

It was slow for me. Just a fat old groundhog and tree rats. That's hunting for ya.
