Well had to come home a day early. We were hunting the Elk Horn Mountain range and were camped at 8500 feet. Listned to radio and they called for 15 to 20 inches of snow Monday into Tuesday. Decided to move camp to around 6200 but still to recieve 5 to 9 inches of snow. did not want to miss my trip to Missouri so decided to leave this morning after a short hunt. Did alot of walking and saw NO elk. Saw plenty of mulies but of course we had no tags for those. Guess there is always next year.

Did you have a picture of an elk so you would know what one looked like?
