Got out here to the farm and snuck in without spooking anything. Decoy is set up and I'm ready to shoot something. If the wind gets too bad I'm gonna head to the #1 ladder stand. Good luck to those that are out.

Heard a noise in the timber, but too dark to see what it was. Wind is picking up. :whinging:

Good Luck! I'm jealous that I'm at work and not in the woods!

Had a barred owl land in a tree in front of me. We are having fun checking each other out. Took a pic but not sure if it'll come out.

Just had 4 does come to the decoy. They held up at about 50 yds with no clear shot. Guess I should have left the antlers off the decoy. Maybe they wouldn't have been so leary.

Thinking bout going on walkabout. My tree is swaying a bit more then I care for. Then once I reach the truck I'm gonna give up the bow for the shotgun and try to find a birdy.

Sorry for the phone call dude. i should have checked what you were doing on here first. :toilet: I do look forward to sharing a hunt with you on Saturday! I was about 2 miles north of lake Clark last night and probably saw 100 ducks (mostly teal) on that marsh. I think we will get to shoot our guns on Saturday!:

Jumped 2 does on my walk. Didn't see a turkey one so I'm gonna skip the run and gun and head to the big farm and get started working.
