thats what I thought also-best I can tell is an immature goleden based on the white at the base of the tail(had to look in a book)

A bald eagle is a BIG BIRD, a golden makes a bald eagle look tiny.
Pretty cool.
Just last week someone e-mailed me some pics of a golden eagle getting in a tussle with a fox. But since I got spammed for posting a deer in the snow pic I figured I'd not bother posting it up here.... :boohoo:

That's awesome. I had to watch it twice before I saw the guy holding the bird right before the bird gets the deer. Pretty cool way to hunt if you ask me. :
