Season came to a close yesterday, so its time to start a projects thread for the 176 acre CRP farm I rolled into after the sale of my 122 farm late summer. I closed just in time to get 9-10 acres of fall plots established.
The main goal for this spring is to get a 15 acre section of the CRP cleaned up and begin the process of establishing switch.

Backtracking again, had a bonus honker hunt (and a few ducks) on the farm pond a couple weeks ago. I hadn't killed any sky pandas for a couple years.

Ive done a terrible job keeping this thread updated. The hot RE market has kept me extremely busy at work and taking time to post has taken a backseat.

February get together with bunch of my deer buddies.

Chopped some logs out of the ditch to pay some bills on CRP cleanup

Only made it out shed hunting once all year. Found an awesome looking dead head and an nice older 5 point side

Got last falls buck back from Taxi

Wacked first gobbler on new farm and put my buddy eric on one the first Saturday

Stocked up on some herbicide for spring plots

Took some barn scraps and old spray tank to add some weight to my packer

Got beans drilled with help from my co-pilot

Corn in same day as beans, May 2nd

Has been lots of fun dragging the kiddo to the farm with me this year. Hate seeing her grow up so fast but glad she can come hang/help do deer chores and enjoy the outdoors with me

I get some paternity time off, so it will work out well. Happy we having a boy cause this was the last chance.

Here lissome sh i t i did over the weekend,,, more pic drop coming of e fence etc. Trying to build the farm up on nights and weekends and staying married can be tough
