There is a low spot in my clover field that always holds water for a while after it rains. So I decided to help it out. I used my tractor to dig it down about 18-20 inches. Now I have a water hole in a 30 yard wide pinch point in my clover field. Might be a hot spot if it's a dry fall and the creek dries up.

Standing water in a clover field will add to the attraction. Deer might prefer it to your creek.
