shot a blue winged teal drake this morning at shanks. He wants it mounted, but just bought a house. so money is limited. Any suggestions on who or where to take it to? i called bilbrey studio in barnhart and they said 175. Any suggestions on how to wrap it up and freeze it until he takes it there?

[rquote=1492295&tid=104232&author=DuckHuntinMo]Tuck the head under the right or left wing and take it to B&D taxidermy, great price. Talk to billygoat about it.[/rquote]

What he said...

after tucked under wing, put in plastic freezer bag, seal. then put in plastic trash bag or bag from grocery store

look 90 is a great price and of course you will hear you get what you pay for horse muffins i tell ya.. B&D does great work and are recommended by many hunters around they charge 185 a duck.. if people would just stop beaten everyones opinion down because of the price it would a much nicer mount.. if you like what you pay for then to the heck with the rest of the opinions jmho... what i suggest is got to these places and look at their work and let the work tell you where to get it done at not the price of the work.. i have seen folks charge way to much for work that looked bad to me,but looked good to the customer. also have seen folks that charge a lot less and the customer be happy and it didnt look good to me.. honestly shop around let the work sell the taxidermist not the price i ahve always said this and so has don and billy....DONT TAKE ANYONES WORD FOR TAXI WORK GO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO ,NOT WHAT SOMEONE ELSE TELLS THEY CAN DO...:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Don't put them in stockings the feathers will stick to the stocking and pull out when yÓu take them out. Wrap in bag and another bag.
