I took my three year old on his first solo campout (just me and him) last weekend. We camped at the Quarry campground just below Lake Norfork in Arkansas. This is close to Mt. Home, AR.

I thought some of you guys might be interested in the kids and mobility impaired only fishing that they have there. They have a small stream called Dry Run Creek that is catch and release only and is restricted to kids 16 and under accompianed by an adult or mobility impaired fishermen.

I included some pics so that you could see their setup. I plan on taking my boys back when they are learning to fly fish. The best part about it is that this stream is full of lunkers!

    Picture of Norfork Dam.

    Our campsite.

Dry Run Creek. Some of the sections are only accesible by foot...this is one of them.

Some pictures of the ramps and decks along the stream.

That's pretty cool. Does MO have anything like that?
