Looking for someone to do some dozer work west of West Plains about 10 miles. Mainly cedars. Please let me know if you know of someone. Thanks

I can't help you in that area, but may look up someone that does forestry mulching using a skid steer with a giant carbide mulcher attachment. Quicker... ie cheaper, and much less soil disturbance. Took a day and my guy just north of KC cleared no less than 1500 cedars in my 40 acre CRP field. Each cedar about 8-14 foot tall

You can also rent them. I think it's aboit 2gs a week or 600$ a day.

It's a little more than I thought but I think the mulched guys get 250-300$ an hour.

Are the cedars small enough a large skid steer could do the job?

Cedars are actually very large. If I knew of someone that logged cedars, he would be in business. We wouldn't want a money return, just land cleared, planting help and maybe a pond made.

Contact Warren sawmill out of Gainesville he would probably log the cedar. And I can get you a couple contacts for skid steer and dozer work if you need that too.
Will do and please send dozer contacts. Thanks
You could rent 4 Mexicans and two chainsaws for a week for $2k. And have money left for beer and tacos
