Been waiting for the green light to shoot a spot I've been watching and today I finally got it. Needless to say I should have got my limit but I did get a few that decided to fly into my pellets lol. Not a bad birthday present getting a shoot in before work. Judging distance on these little rockets sure is tricky. Gonna try to be patient and more selective next go round. 20170913_161414.jpg 20170913_161930.jpg

You did pretty good......I've got a bruised Shoulder/Arm from shooting so much and only 5 birds in the freezer after missing so many!

I indeed did. I could have pot shot about 10 in a tight group on the ground but that's no fun. So I scared them off and tried to pick them off as they filtered back. Even their slow gear was tough to catch up with lol. My biggest problem was shooting to far.

Always remember. Doves were built to shoot AT not be shot. :D

I feel your pain. I did the dove thing for the first time on opening day and judging distance and speed was a real reality check for me. I was not leading them near enough. Apparently these beast fly at a speed somewhere between a clay bird and a F18, or at least it felt such to me.
