Dogwoods are Bloomin, Time to Start!

    yep, down here, when the dogwoods bloom, time to go catfishin... great grandpa told me that years ago... said i could swear by it, and sure enough if it hasn't let me down yet!

    time to go get em!

    You got dogwoods bloomin already? GEEZ! We're budded up here but not bloomin!

    we wnet up to mark twain this weekend and got some fair one nothing really big just frying size.it was still fun though.

    I caught a 7 pound channel cat 2 days ago on a black and chartreuse crappie jig! :eek:

    and i a 2 lb er on a red and white tail jig! i tells ya, time to go serious on them ole boot lips!

    granddad allways said when the dogwoods bloom was the size of a mouse's ear it was time for crappie.

    yesterday after work i went down to the pond
    and got 4 cat in 30min. i threw back one about 12in.
    and took home 3 about 3 pound apiece and within two
    hours i had the fried up and on the table now if i could only
    get some shrooms to :dancin:
