Had a coyote come in today- I thought I had a great shot but I missed:(. If I come back out in a few weeks using the same set of calls is there a good chance he'll come back?

    flatlander_ Really? Show me. .

Maybe, maybe not. I would try from a different location if possible.

1 in 3 chance it was a transient and you'll never see it again.

If youre talking about me, my feelings are fine. Maybe feel a bit sad that someone supposedly so smart cant figure out a simple concept like a large random sample being representative of the whole.... but then the sad turns to laughter when I think about why hes being so obtuse....

When we went to the MDS Pheasant shoot yesterday, there were some coyotes hanging from the fence posts. I think it was a warning to transient coyotes.

I saw those too. I guess coyote fur isn't worth much these days either.

I had the same gobbler come to my blind one spring twice within an hour, the second time after he had an arrow rip through a part of him. He was easy to tell cause he was missing two tail feathers off to one side of his fan tail. But I believe a coyote is a bit smarter than that. I'd try to change something up a bit, but I would still go if the other option was staying at home.

They do that to the ones they don't sell so a guy can drive by and count those towards the nation wide harvest. You might of seen him. He drives a green intrepid . I guess counting coyotes on fence posts nation wide doesnt pay well.
