    Do you?

    *Edit for additional questions*

For the those that vote "yes," a couple of more questions.

    1. Do you take your youths on public land during regular firearms season?
    2. If regular firearms season is too dangerous for you and your youth together...why is it safe for you by yourself?

I do not, but like already said, if i didn't have private then I would have no choice cause a brothers gotta hunt!

  4. That is all I hunt, and that is why I love the youth season, I don't have to get my kids out to fight the orange army. Sure is safer!

  7. I do take her during rifle season, just not on the weekends. I have to work the whole week, but we actually hunt several evenings during the week.

More, and a higher percentage of hunters get hurt in a hunting incident on private ground than public.

We hunt mostly private ground, but it has nothing to do with it being safer.

I think the answer to number 2 is, or would be for me. If I get shot in a hunting accident then that's the chance I took, but if my kid would get shot, then that would be a whole nuther ballgame.

If I get shot, it's the shooter's fault, if my kid gets shot, then it's the shooter's fault and my fault.
