There's a little deer that stays in one of our pastures all day and all night long eating the clover that grows in it. About the only time she isn't out there is right at daylight and the few hours afterwards. At night there are several other deer that show up, but never during the daylight like this one.

She was injured right around rifle season and maybe she is just eating more to make up for her injury? She walks fine and acts like a normal deer when she runs though so I'm guessing it's pretty much healed up.

I have noticed that young deer that have been orphaned hang around our place more than the other deer. I think that they really dont know where their place in the herd is. I know the 2 around me can be seen at any time of the day.
