Dillo Mud Bath

1178 Views 19 Replies 13 Participants Last post by  Mailman
Pulled my camera card overlooking the salt lick by the deer crossing sign. I had more pics of a dillo taking a mud bath almost nightly than I did of deer. That should change since I refreshed the lick after 3 years with a hundred pounds of stock salt and another ingredient.

So I don't know if this is normal that dillos like rolling in the mud or not but this little guy was a nightly visitor. Maybe it cools down the little fella?

Not one photo of a dillo at the pond. A few ***** and a couple of smaller bucks plus one doe with twins and one doe with a single fawn. Deer were there at the pond almost every day.

BTW I had over 3,700 pics on one card using the same batteries
What model camera is that?
