sat this mourning in the ground blind wasnt really seeing anything and about 730 i see 8 does come out of the crp to the right of me with no bucks.alittle while longer i see 10 more does also with no bucks.i really thought does shouldnt be grouping up like that.really confusing i thought.:shrug:

I had 16 antlerless deer in the field I was watching last night with n bucks.

Where i was set up earlier in the afternoon tho there was an 8 pointer chasing a doe.

yep hopefully this cold weather in will get the big boys back on their feets and moving during day light. Thanksgiving weekend I typically see a big buck every year.

2009 is the second latest deer season can ever be held under the current rules for setting the day. 2008 was the latest.

2008-09 were right at a week later than the earliest season can happen under the rules for choosing a date.:cheers:

I have the same issues. Does, does, does galore and they're all grouped up together for the most part. If I want to see a rack, I have to sit in the living room and stare at the walls, or drive down the gravel road after dark. The boys ain't coming out to play in the daylight.

I saw 8 does no buck Saturday morning.
ended up shooting one that was crippled, must have been hit by a car.

Wierd for sure. Thought it was going to be my day when I saw the does come down the hill. Let them browse for over 15 minutes with no sign of a buck around them before putting the doe out of her misery.
