Deer Processing Class

    The MDC will be having a deer processing class at the Northeast Regional Office in Kirksville tomorrow, November 9th, from 5:30-9:00pm. Sam Western of Western's Smokehouse will be demonstrating the process from field to freezer; skinning, quartering and cuts of meat. Free of charge and all equipment provided.     I think Kentucky has that on their website, check out "Deer, from the Field to the Freezer" They sell the DVD, too. I bought it and gave it to someone who needed the lesson more than me (I've cut up plenty).

    I THINK it's streamed online if someone wants to watch it. It's pretty good.
