No mister big this time, just lots of does and fawns but good pic's just the same. Thought I'd share some with ya. Here's a little buck that can't seem to get enough of the mineral lick.

I have a ton more but this is a fair representation of what was on them for this trip.

Both cameras were out for 16 days- one had 148 images, the other 109.

mrmurph,
If my math is correct, you're getting an average of about 8 pics per day on your licks. If you wouldn't mind, would you share what you're using in the licks? Looks like your bucks are definitely benefitting from your efforts. Thanks for sharing the pics, they are awesome.

No problem, MBB. I got the recipe here.

50 #’s Di calcium phosphate
100 #’s Trace mineral salt (red) no medications
50 #’s Stock salt
Mix on location and replenish every 6 months.

I use four five gallon buckets and separate the ingredients equally into those so I have four complete licks ready to go and mix them up at the location. I dig a 3' circle about 8" deep and mix some of the dirt from the hole in with the mineral. I add about 3 gallons of river water and it's ready to go.
