I’d put up some cameras in the woods along the trails entering the field and find where they are staging before entering the field.

Cooler temps may help. They may be finding acorns right now.

What time are they hitting the field? Are they hitting it on consecutive nights?

Yep. Hunt between the bedding area and the field.
Agree ^ Go in the woods and ambush them.
Deer have been known to do this. :D

Cooler weather might help get them out there before it’s dark. I would wait them out before pushing too far back into the woods and maybe breaking them off pattern.
ive found that if you want to get them out of the woods just go set up in the woods. your camera on the field will show you that they did in fact move to where you werent. you wont see them, but they will no longer be where you thought they were.

this tactic can be especially effective if the weather is ****ty, or you take a kid with you, etc.

Huh?????
You just go where you think they are. Then they go somewhere else. Pretty well standard operating procedure for the deers where I hunt.

Deer are hitting acorns around here. Plus it's been hotter than the hubs of Hades.
I’ve always had to move into the woods to intercept them earlier consistently. If they are bedding a long ways from the field that will make them arrive after dark. Besides hunting trails in the woods my only suggestion would be create thick bedding cover closer to the field edge. Then they may browse in the field earlier and more often.
Right now I am having the deer come out during daylight but running across the bean field to where there is shade...I'm setting up tonight where the bucks are leaving the woods, the does may smell me and spook but they are not bedding in the same area.

We are seeing a crap load of deer but the right one has just been a little out of range. With is hot as it is the are only feeding in the shade till the sun goes down.

sure deer eat acorns, but like Dafish mentioned, in this heat shade is key! I wonder if this field has little shade.

Acorns galore in my woods and that is where the deer are staying most of the daylight hours but move to the open hay fields of my neighbor. Lots of clover there for them to browse until sunup. Then back to roaming through the woods picking up acorns on their way to their bedding area. They pass through my place morning and evenings. I just set up on one of those well established trails but putting the wind in my favor on which trail I choose.
I hunted only once, opening morning. I had a couple of different does just basically standing in one spot hammering across, and occasional hitting green browse. They weren't white oak acorns either, black/red (not sure which they were).

I didnt get deer into the field until well after dark either. Think they are opting for the shade and convenience of the woods right now.

Only way to "make" them is a deer drive.
All you need is a whiteoak dropping acorns on the west edge of a green bean field and you're golden.
