It's five foot tall to the bottom of the platform. This is mainly for my momma, and the boy. Prolly for any yutes that wanna hunt as well.how tall is the stand? Ive been thinking about putting one of these on a piece of property for the wife and kids to hunt from. comfort is the name of the game for the ladies.
Thats cool man I think if I do it I will go a little higher. Do you have an idea on what the whole thing cost? Is there any reason why you went metal stand instead of 4x4 wood posts? It's five foot tall to the bottom of the platform. This is mainly for my momma, and the boy. The stand was welded up by Freeburg Hardwoods, we just you a tractor and hoisted it up with forks and lag bolted it down. Took less then 30 min.I gotta ask @jawesome357 - Did you custom build the stand yourself and if so - how the hell did you muscle the house up onto the stand - them things are HEAVY!
I don't have much in this whole thing, as I did some trading with @xx75 for the hut. The stand was around $250 delivered to the farm. All total if i had to put a cash price on it around $800. I went metal just because i could have the guys weld it up quick and easy and drop it off right quick where i wanted it.Thats cool man I think if I do it I will go a little higher.
