What has been your experience hunting in Alabama ? I am thinking of booking a trip to www.yellowcreekranch.com Take a lkook and tell me what you think. This will be my first time. Any other lodge suggestions in Alabama or Mississippi would be appreciated.

I have hunted in Mississippi for several years, my folks live there, my dad runs a hunting club. Have friends that hunt Alabama. IMO, I would pay to hunt alabama before I would pay for Mississippi.
In a few years, Mississippi will catch up to the quality of deer in alabama. IF, if I were to hunt Mississippi, I would hunt the northern portion of the state. Just my opinion.
I have heard some good reports from www.gilesisland.com.
There another place along the mississppi river that's really good, but I can't rememeber the name right now.
