We came upon a dead deer in the river a week or two ago. I hope it wasnt blue tongue. Well, it's still there, floating up against a downed tree. I figured the fish and critters would have cleaned it up by now but it is still there getting pretty rank. Maybe I ought to go down there with the 12ga and put a few loads in it so maybe it will sink and the crawdads can take care of it. Sure wish the river would get up a little so it would wash on downstream somewhere else!

What river is that? We used to have a place near Montreal. I dont think lLicking was to far.
