Congratulations on a Great Buck Kennedy!!!!!Kennedy scored this morning on one of the several bucks that we saw. It was one of those mornings that hunters dream of. We had a hot doe in the woods with us and we saw at least 6 different bucks running around trying to get with her. She ended up shooting this deer. She wasn't real particular on which one she got to shoot, she just knew she wanted a buck and he had to be standing perfect for her to pull the trigger. She passed on 2 of them because the shot just wasn't quite right and she didn't feel good about the shot. When she shot this one, I thought she'd hit him low and broken his leg. However, after a short 35 yard dash through the woods, he dropped in sight. While field dressing him we found she hit him perfect. His lungs were pulverized! She was excited and that's what it's all about! Both of us were shaking uncontrollably while all of these deer were running around. Like I said, it was a hunt that we all dream of! Youth season is where it's at for this dad, I guarantee that! Just look at her smiles!
