Dang, haven't seen a coon in two months...............

    I guess I've thinned out the local herd enough that they aren't coming in to raid the cat food for now, anyway. I haven't seen any coons, other than roadkill, in quite awhile. I don't think I could buy one if I wanted to, right now.

    It's pretty cold outside, for Kentucky, and no takers. I put out cat food and all I get are cats. Good, I can live with that.

    It's been cold enough here they haven't moved for several days. The first warm up should get them out and about.

    would a smoke pot draw them out, with a little bacon grease on top?

    In Canada they use beaver grease...
