3:15pm, 30-30. This was our only day to hunt this year. Glad it all came together.

On another note, we tried to take it to Swiss Meats in Hermann after hearing all about how good they are. Couldn't believe they were closed by 6:30pm on opening day! Must be a sign that they had a slow day, but still...it's opening day!

Swiss Meats always closes early in the evening. Used to stay open later when we still had check stations because they were one.

You ain't missing much with Swiss Meats being closed. They are HIGHLY overpriced.

Great deer, I will second the fact that Swiss is a little pricey to have them butcher your deer, but if you do it your self and take the ground meat they will make up some great sausages and deer sticks and it is a lot more resonable.
