Decided to give it a whirl painting one of my ml'ers... It started out in life black w/ synthetic stalk...

I didnt want to paint it exactly like I did my shotguns, simply because the ml'er is used only in the fall, and theres much more browns.. so i tried to keep that as the theme, and also to keep the colors lighter, did that by misting each color on coat after coat real light.. There is some green, just hard to see in the pics.. And wanted to get a different color in there, was going to do a burtn orange, but couldnt find any that were flat.. maybe next time.

Anyways here you go...

Another shot... (before adding deer tracks)

And to be different from the shotguns I added a couple of "deer tracks"...

Thanks CP

And your right, i just hadnt taken off the tape yet... Most of the pics ive posted of the guns ive painted were pre-removal of the tape.. Of the new ones ive painted I havent painted the recoil pads... I wasnt aware that it can cause the rubba ta break down, but didnt paint them simply because I figured that the paint would crack as the gun recoiled..
