I really do enjoy looking back at these things, so heres another journal.

Spent a few hours shed hunting this past weekend with no luck. Lots of trails and bedding areas walked and came up empty handed. And also spent quite a bit of time looking through 4 cards that have sat awhile. Nothing real special but heres some survivors, and a few I found interesting..

Heres too another fun year.

    Dang dude, got deer?
I have some good pics of the resident nannies putting a beat down on each other over a food source as well, they get pretty protective. I even found some clumps of hair from them kicking other deer my last couple card pulls over some corn.

Ha, yea that series of pics had me almost laughing as well. Each pic I clicked through had another deer step into the frame.

Its only about 1/6 and acre. But they love that little bitty clover plot. Well, they do before the season and after the season. Never really catch to many hanging out in it during the season.

Got all signed up before the CO deadline. Kinda surprised I remembered. Thinking we should have enough points accrued to draw successfully this year for a group Muzzleloader elk hunt. We shall see.

Not much gobbling. And birds aren't cooperating on her first ever hunt as of yet. Sitting still may or may not be the problem :)

Well it was different this morning. Bird were talking. And we got it done early. 6:45. Gobbled aways off and came in on a string down the old logging road.

Didn't realize what the feeling would be getting one with my boy by my side. Freaking awesome and can't describe it. He was all smiles.

    Inch spurs and 10.75 beard.
