    make sure you messure the string in the exact middle of your cross bow string and MARK it with a permenant paint marker to insure a accurate hit ( if its a little off of your marker on your string just imagine how far off it would be at 30 yards left or right )

    Good tip!

    I mark mine along both sides of the rail, so I can watch as I crank it back. If you mark the center, you won't be able to see the mark after it's cocked...on mine, anyways.

    i use a brace line & always keep my string set there
