I got a ruger 10/22 for Christmas 5 years ago and first thing I shot was a bobcat.
I got a new omega three ears ago and have not seen a deer with it yet
well last night had a bobcat come trotting by at 60 yards It stopped and I missed him I guess probably shot over him. :stickfight:
maybe I have to shoot at a bobcat with every new rifle before I can hunt with it for anything else, wierd.
Only bought two rifles in my life
I have great luck seeing bobbies and yotes and does
still waiting for my first wallhanger :shrug:

I have yet to see a bobcat or coyote from the stand. I need to thin out some of the yotes around here. They are pretty thick. We sure hear a ton of them every evening at dusk.

I only seen one booby cat and it was not season for them yet sadly.
