Just making room for those undocumented Yotes
Keef there's a place over south of Pinwheels place (I think off Odessa ave but maybe olympic) that makes and sells CR's. Just a heads up as it isn't crazy far from your place
What brand of CRs do you guys recommend? I'm wanting to order some.
Sorry BeardsNSpurs, didn't see your post when I wrote this. Maybe I'll get with Pinwheel and see where this place is located.
No problem. They're called Thompson snares. They are just north of anabel, MO on nutmeg avenue. Real nice folks. And I know they make snares/CR's by the truckload as their whole garage is jammed full of em. Its a family operation from what I gather as one of the last times I was there they had some young fellows out there helping.
Got it thanks. I'll check their website.
Buying local is great and I always try to do so whenever possible ... I have ordered from both THE SNARE SHOP and FnT I get just the generic MO , Wi , Pa legal snares ( 275 breakaways and deer stops ) both places have a good selection of anchors and premade cable supports .
All these setups an be made cheaper buying bulk components but I never seem to make time to do it myself
What brand of locks do you use on your CRs? I'm trying to plan ahead and begin getting stuff before I need it.
Sorry, Keef, I'm not sure what mine are. A fellow on disability builds mine for me, plus waxes dies all my traps, and keeps me in bait. In return, I give him my catch. I'm just trapping for the fawns sake. I know they work well, I can find out...
