I've got some tired legs after walking through some brush and tallgrass a good portion of the day. During deer season we saw a few coveys numerous times while sitting in the stands. We tried quail hunting today and didn't find a single covey. They weren't were we thought they were. Plus, our ag field wasn't planted this year so the quail have 40 more acres of cover and food. I know we have 3-4 good coveys at least. It was supposed to be easier.
I don't know what to say about the quail, but it was good to walk around the place. Found 4 or so rubs on roughly 6-8" cedars.
And to top it off, I didn't take may pics, but here are the ones I have.
A little view of part of the farm.
