Got a call to get a Deer if I wanted it but I couldn’t load it in my Pickup by myself.

Get a sheet a plywood and fit it to the back of your truck. You might have an easier time loading using it as an inclined plane/lift.

After I'm healed I'm going to get a Winch. Right now can't see worrying about it.

Would have been nice to have found some help this morning.

Oneshot if you want a deer, I'll get you one and meet you somewhere if you want. I can even bone it out for ya. But I wont be going till later when it gets cooler.

An inexpensive come-a long works.
You will find other ways to use it.

I've used a ratchet strap in the past while loading one by myself. Get the head up on the tailgate and then swing the back end in.

I would take Ringer up on his offer. Wait until you get your shoulder repaired before doing any heavy lifting.

Could make it work. I have a Chain and Ratchet Strap. Could make it work.

I would think a person driving by and seeing you standing behind your truck with a deer laying there would stop and help you load it. I know I would have but that's just me.

Yes. David and I have met a few times. In fact he has visited with my wife and I while we were camping at Osage Bluff Campground at Truman Lake. Good guy!
