Coming live from the big farm

    Duck hunted with Tater and his boys this morning at our big farm so I figured I'd better stick around to deer hunt this evening. Probably gonna have to cut out a bit early for a family dinner, but for now I have a SSW wind coming outta the timber and I'm on the north side of the timber overlooking the river levee and my lake.

    Update is I'm baking in my climber from the sun watching ducks swim around on my lake. Cousin and his son are in a box blind overlooking cut bean fields.

    There's a Yote bedded down in the cut beans. He's gotta be 600+ yds from me though.

    Cousin's boy just missed a doe. I had a big fish jump in front of me and I don't have a fishing pole.

    3 ducks died this morning Dave.

    Just had a button buck under my stand for 10 mins. He's stiudll behind me in the timber. Yotes are howling.

    I have it on good authority that a yote took a NAP Bloodrunner to the jugular tonight. Pics later.

    I always carry a rabbit distress call with me or the little mouse squeaker to draw a Coyote in closer for a Bow Shot! :thinking: :wave:
