Ok I have some meetings in Columbia and my room is to be walking distance of Bass Pro.

Been many years since I've been there but isn't the Missouri River just down from there on I-70 and there use to be a Blue Hole there, not sure like I say it has been years?

Thinking of taking my Fishing Gear mainly Catfishing.

Last time I went up there a company was supposed to show me how to run a piece of equipment. When all was said and done I showed them how to increase their production 5X. Told my Boss and he said they should pay us instead of the other way around.

Not completely still with FEMA. Do you know where I'm talking about on the river?

I don't fish that area. Mostly near STL. Most of the oxbow lakes around here are private.

Looking at the maps, it doesn't look like you can drive down to the river on the Overton side, but you can drive to it on the Big Muddy side as well as the pond that oneshot is probably referring too.

Ok looking at MDC site and I'm looking at A. Perry Philips Park Lake. Can anyone tell me about this? Thinking using Smaller Gear and maybe just worms.

I can tell you definitively the Overton access is not accessible. Cooper County took care of the road for the conservation dept and it was given up on after the last flood

Yes it would probably take a Large Loader to clear it. Seems last time I was over that way was after the '93 Flood and I would say there was 5 foot of sand there.

Funny I remember them farming that ground.

Little Dixie is nearby, and Finger Lakes...both decent options.

Well I decided not to go fishing. My wife says I won't have time. Plus it's hard sneaking Fish into Hotels.

No hot tub? Vino and a hot tub can be lots of fun.
