I guess. We are looking at purchasing a new camper and they told me I would have to add brake to my truck. It is a 2017 tundra. Didn't know what they meant.

All you need is an electric brake controller. About $100. I had a Grey Wolf 28bhs and a Tundra could pull this one here for sale. I think tundras can pull around 10k.

Slick looking camper for a good price, but I am still a few years from upgrading. The ole popup is still functioning (with modifications) and serving the purpose...even made it all the way to the Grand Canyon summer before last.

No, it has brakes. You would need a brake controller. I pull it with a 13 Tundra. It would come with a sway bar. Imho, you do not need a load leveling hitch with a Tundra. It barely squats it, if at all.

It's not about how much your truck squats. It's about weight distribution. Lots of campers have a bunch of tongue weight. Lots of trucks have hitches that aren't rated for the weight that the trailer has. A weight distributing hitch decreases the amount of carried weight on the hitch. Most hitches, it's close to double what it is without a weight distributing hitch.

Unless his Tundra is different than mine, he won't need a weight distribution hitch.

Most half ton hitches are only rated for 5-600lb tongue weight. I’ll be willing to bet that a camper like this is over 600lb.

Maximum tongue weight on my Tundra is 1,030 lbs, his would be similar.
