The wife shot a 125 class 8 pt this morning. He is actually a 6 pt, his left side is broken off at the brow tine. We are hunting in a AR county. My question is there is no way to explain what he is when you check him in and it sounds like we a checking a illegal deer. Any ideas?

You can check a 4 point buck and be completely legal about it - as long as those 4 points are all on the same side. Don't worry about checking it as a 6 point because as long as one side has 4, it's a legal deer.
