I thought I'd share this sequence so everyone could get an idea of antler growth up to this point in the year. Maybe I'll be able to get a couple more of this buck, especially after he comes out of velvet......and then.....of course I could hope for giving my final picture with me standing over him.

He put on double height on those points in 11 days. I hope that he continues to put some more on. I think the growing will just about stop about August 1st, but I'm guessing.

I hope I get him stuck on the evening of Sept. 15th though, to where he doesn't have time to grow that thick neck.
