Had a small herd coming in to my setup with a yearling leading the pack. She got to 32 yrds and went on high alert. Had a swirling wind and she winded me eventually and high tailed it outta there taking along 5-6 more that were coming in on a string. They got split up with the yearling and came back around about 30 mins later but 100 yrds out. I leave out of the stand about 11 ish and pop into the hay field and about 100 yrds out 3 deer come tearing out and cross the field. Looked like a doe with 2 little ones. boy and a girl. Next thing I know theres another deer pops out and hes on their trail. He was all spunky and lost the trail for a sec and bounded back and picked it up again and took off after em. Funny to watch. He was a little spike from what I could tell. Most deer I have seen in a week. Hoping to stick one tonite.

I'm still seeing some young uns chasing but havn't seen a decent one on a doe in a week or so. With as bad as the rut was in my areas this year I actually think the late rut in Dec. is going to be phenominal.
