If this is what I think it is it was right in the middle of my newly planted food plot !!!
What ~ no clue?!
It's a dusting??? Not sure what they're called but where Turks dust themselves.
Ah-ha! I see it, now...
At first, I thought a deer had bed down in your food plot.
Either way, it's definitely a good sign!
Well sure, that's what I thought...
Actually I was thinking you started a mineral lick! :neuspeuter:
I thought the picture might be hard to see...
I'm pretty sure thats what it is, it looked like a nest made in the dirt.
I believe that is exactly that....a turkey dusting bowl...good sign there!!!
I watched 4 dusting this past weekend.
sweet! Those things do that every time I plant a plot in the spring!! I always have bare spots in my plots from it.
The ones I watched was around 10 am.
looks like a dust bowl to me. I had luck once late in the day when the gobblers went silent I went to one of those dusting sites and killed a bird.
I have one right next to the road between my fence and the ditch not 15 feet from my driveway. Took a nice one last spring not 50 yards from there.
